Similar to crude oil and LNG, the sudden onset of Covi-19 also caused the demand for LPG to decrease in the global market. But the use of LPG is becoming increasingly popular in commercial, industrial, and transportation sectors. This is why the demand of LPG is expected to rise sharply to around 360 milline tonnes by 2027. In 2016, LPG demand was only around 300 milline tonnes. This rapid growth of LPG is likely to come from two sectors—residential and petrochemicals.

Growing globalization of the gas market

Keeping up with this, Osta Energy provides both consultation and trading of LPG. We secure medium- to long-term contracts and partnerships for access to LPG production, storage, and transportation. Osta Energy is strategically developing its LPG activities, both in terms of consultation and trading, to reflect the growing globalization of the gas market.
